Pushing on a String

"The [Jobs and Competitiveness] Council will focus on finding new ways to promote growth by investing in American business to encourage hiring..."

Way to go, Barry! Way to put jobs THIRD in a "jobs council"! Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

  1. Lead of your last link:

There is no swifter way to alienate working class voters than to name an outsourcing CEO to lead your jobs strategy. Yet that's exactly what President Obama is doing.

In a world that made sense, this would be valid assessment.

But here in MI, as hard hit by outsourcing and lob loss as anywhere, we just elected an outsourcing CEO as governor.

I am completely baffled by the idiocy of American democracy.
